Chemcon Tecsys, the first truly indigenous company to develop and manufacture the nextgeneration high range water reducers – Poly-Carboxylate Ether superplasticizers in India. We provide variety of tailor-made PCEs to suit the ever-changing and demanding situations of any construction company. With the construction industry in its all new high in India, we provide solutions to meet hectic schedules and tight deadlines. Chemcon Tecsys, based in Chennai, comes as a sigh of relief to the industry with its range of superplasticizers and updated solutions to concrete handling and betterment.
The company is a dream project of Mr. V K Ravikumar who has been in the construction chemical industry for over 35 years having relationship with the biggest names in construction industry – L&T, CCCL, Soma, Ultratech, GMR, Madhucon, Vijay Nirman, Shapoorji Pallonji, Simplex, IVRCL and Ennore Port to name a few. With a view to serve the industry with the much awaited locally produced PCE to stand as tall or more than its multinational counterparts, the company was founded in 2009 though the research and development had begun much ahead of it. Our manufacturing unit is located at S.F. No. 184/1A2, Chembarambakkam Village, Poonamallee Taluk, Tiruvallur District with a production capacity of 300 MT per month.

OUR VISION
Chemcon Tecsys is a unique construction chemicals manufacturer in the Indian context. While a majority of construction chemicals manufacturers in India focus on low-end, well-established and marketed chemicals such as waterproofing agents, grouts, low and mid-range water reducing admixtures and retarders, Chemcon Tecsys directly forayed into the market of polycarboxylate ether (PCE) based superplasticizers, which have been the monopoly of multinational corporations such as BASF and SIKA. We are the first purely Indian company to develop our own range of polycarboxylate ether based superplasticizers. The main polymer backbone has carboxyl groups for the adsorption on the surface of cement particles and alkoxy polyether lateral chains that keep theparticles physically away from each other, a phenomenon called steric hindrance. This result in superior fluidity of the mixture combined with better retention if workability (slump) as compared to the conventional superpalsticizers based on naphthalene or lignosulphonate formaldehyde polycondensates.
Chemcon Tecsys aspire to cement its position as the truly Indian PCE-based superplasticizer manufacturer by tailoring the PCE chemistry for specific applications. Our vision is to enable high quality concrete construction all over India through the use of high-performance cost-effective chemical admixtures indigenously produced in India. Our material sourcing, manufacturing and quality control activities are geared to ensure that consistency and quality is maintained in every batch. We also strive to maintain a high solid content in the admixtures so that performance is obtained at a lower admixture dosage and the quality is maintained. Our emphasis is not to compromise quality for being a low range option. We are confident that the customers that use our product will continue to rely on us for their high quality concrete. This is amply evident by the continued patronage of several ready-mixed concrete manufacturers who stick with our product even when there are low range options available.
Any corporation envisions rapid financial growth, and Chemcon Tecsys is no exception. However, we place the employees, products, and the processes as paramount in our growth process. As long as we are able to cater to the volumes that are in demand, we will continue to do so without aggressive marketing strategies or undercutting the price.
